Dopo le nominations degli Screen Actors Guild Awards di 24 ore fa, anche i globi d'oro hanno decretato il meglio della passata stagione sfoderando la solita valanga di candidature tra cinema e tv, comedy e drama. Va detto che non c'è una gran differenza tra i nominati. Proprio tra questi ultimi, tra l'altro, una vera e propria pioggia di nomi che ad Hollywood contano davvero: Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Lawrence (ancora), Tom Hanks, Robert Redford, Kate Winslet, Judy Dench, Kevin Spacey, Al Pacino, Leonardo Dicaprio, Michael Douglas e Matt Damon. Insomma, si prevede già un red-carpet succulento. 
Per quanto riguarda il cinema, comunque, battono tutti "12 Years a Slave" ("12 anni schiavo") di McQueen e "American Hustle - L'apparenza inganna" di David O. Russell (ormai lanciatissimo) con 7 nomination ciascuno; per la tv, invece, 4 nomination per "House of Cards" e "Dietro i candelabri" di Soderbergh, da noi adesso al cinema. Per i film d'animazione sono in lizza "Cattivissimo me 2", "Frozen" e "I Croods", mentre per la Miglior canzone originale spuntano i nomi di Taylor Swift (per la seconda volta), Justin Timberlake e i Coldplay.Infine, come ogni anno, ne approfitto per pronunciarmi riguardo a chi secondo me vincerà (*) e chi, invece, vorrei veder trionfare (§), attribuendo il seguente punteggio:
